Monarch Data Visualization

Design guidelines
Project Overview
To create a guide for how Monarch communicates data on their health resources blog and social media.
My Contributions
I needed to create a data visualization guide that was professional, clear, on-brand, and accessible. I expanded the color palette from the existing Monarch brand, and worked with the chosen brand fonts. Each color combination and label specification is color-blind friendly and works in black and white.

See these charts and graphs in action on the Monarch blog.
Monarch is a therapist directory created by SimplePractice, connecting therapy seekers to the 100k+ clinicians who already use the EHR platform. Monarch also creates mental health resources, such as articles and quizzes, that helps people evaluate if therapy is for them. Data is a crucial piece of that original content.

I've loved learning more about how data is visualized and how important accessibility is. I'm passionate about making complex topics and information simple and beautiful for the everyday, and this project was the epitome of that.

Special thanks to Daren Reifsneider, data expert extraordinaire, who encouraged me to dive deep into this project (and got even more excited about it than me).
